Our conservatory, where you will breakfast, has arguably the best view in Mevagissey and
quite possibly one of the best views in Cornwall. Guests enjoying
their breakfast have a fabulous 180 degree panoramic view which
encompasses both inner and outer harbours, green rolling countryside,
the village of Mevagissey, and the rugged coastline of St. Austell
Bay.
From
your breakfast table you can follow the dramatic coastline stretching
from Mevagissey across to Gribbin Head, and as far as Rame Head,
which is over 25 miles away. On a clear day you can just about spot
Eddystone Lighthouse on the far horizon located a further 9 miles
south west of Rame Head.
Whatever
the weather, the view is constantly changing, and there is always
something to see, as both harbours are a hive of activity with
fishing and pleasure boats constantly coming and going. You may even
be lucky enough to spot seals, basking sharks or dolphins from the
comfort of your breakfast table.
